Changing the world one bite at a time...
Epic Tastes is written by Sherrie Neil. A Mother, Daughter, Wife, Homemaker, and Cook.
As a child my favorite saying was “Variety is the Spice of Life” as I have grown and gone through many adventures, I have found this saying to be even more accurate then I once had thought as a child.
Raising my family has opened my life to a Variety of life experiences; Hiking, Snowboarding, Book Readings, Play writes, Disney on ice, The Utah Symphony, The zoo and Aquariums, Baseball games, Coloring with the children at home, Movies on a Regular basis, Ice Skating, Sledding, to simply Collecting rocks. What a Variety of fun adventures we have had. And this truly has made for some wonderful Memories.
In life there are many different experiences that are both adventurous and great that we can each learn from; just as in Cooking there are many different ways to put together tastes, making a new Epic Dish and experience. An adventure right here in our kitchens and at our tables.
Writing “Epic Tastes” is an Idea I came up with after reading some fellow bloggers pages and watching a lot of Hells Kitchen. How interesting it will be as we dig together into the histories of some of the most interesting plates of all times. I do believe that knowing the history of a dish helps you to know the true food and appreciate it that much more.
